Shrimp Skewers (Recipe)

These delicious marinated grilled shrimp are a great quick and easy recipe perfect to serve as an appetizer or part of the main meal.

Shrimp Skewers (Recipe)


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. peeled cleaned shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (Use Kasandrinos *FREE Bottle**)
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • a pinch of red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions

  • 1.  Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 mins before using.
  • 2. Mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and spices in a mixing bowl.
  • 3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and mix until coated. Let the shrimp sit for 30 minutes.
  • 4. After the shrimp has marinated, thread shrimp on pre-soaked skewers. 
  • 5. Preheat the grill (or charcoal grill) to medium heat, oil the grates and grill the shrimps for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.
  • 6. Transfer skewers to a plate and serve.
